Abstract The caraway (Carum carvi L.) samples were collected from little meadows situated in Harghita Mountain (Mădăraş Ciuc, Harghita Băi, Jigodin, Tuşnadu Nou), where a relatively small area was covered by a group of rich populations of wild cumin.
